Frank Hassenewert studied Architecture at the University of Technology Berlin and at the Architectural Association, School of Architecture (AA), London. In 1994 he founded the Architecture office Frank Hassenewert Architekt. From 1999 he worked as Assistant Professor for Architectural Design and Construction at TU Berlin. In 2003 he was invited as visiting professor at the University of Hawaii, School of Architecture. In 2005 he conducted several research projects in Methodology of Design at TU Berlin, where he obtained his PhD in Architecture (Engineering) in 2006. In 2009-2010 he was the project manager of the DesignBuild Studio "Students building in Mexico" at TU Berlin.
Currently he is working as architect and developper in Germany.
