Idaho Design Build

About

Idaho Design Build is a community outreach studio in the Architecture Department at the University of Idaho. We partner on unique architectural projects that fill community needs, provide research opportunities to students and faculty, and which could not be realized without the design and construction efforts of the studio.

Founded in 2018, we have worked on a wide variety of projects, including adaptive reuse in historic structures, additions and renovations of public, commercial and non-profit spaces, as well as new construction in challenging environments.  In each case, we approach these projects with a professional, critical, research-oriented, and collaborative outlook. We are committed to developing regenerative solutions that are resource and energy efficient.
