Studio 1:1 is a unique academic program that combines architectural design and construction and craft, emphasizing social responsibility and environmental impact. The Design-Build format of the studio requires design and construction of a full-scale project.
The studio works in close collaboration with local communities responding to real needs to create innovative, sustainable and responsible architectural solutions. The studio offers students the opportunity to work directly with a community, emphasizing planning and construction that is sensitive to the people and the environment.
Since its establishment, the studio has designed and built projects across the country in collaboration with local authorities, social organizations and government agencies. Every project is an opportunity for experimentation and learning that combines theory and practice, creativity and physical work, encouraging students to think outside the box and implement innovative solutions.
The vision of Studio 1:1 is to inspire young professionals with values of social responsibility, to strengthen communities and improve the quality of life in public and private spaces.
