French architect and, since a few months, researcher.
I discovered Design-Build studios in 2012, while I was in Erasmus at the TU Berlin. During this year abroad, I participate, under Ursula Hartig's direction, to the organisation of the symposium "Design-Build Studios : New ways in architectural education". I was also part of several design-build studios as a student, with Reclaiming Heritage (Haïti) and Kigoma + (Tanzania).
Back in France, where Design-Build studios are not very well-known, I wrote my Master Thesis about it, in order to spread the word a little : "DBS ou l'apprentissage d'une nouvelle vision du monde" - "DBS or learning a new way of seeing the world".
After working two years in an architecture office in France, I'm now starting a Phd on DBS. My subject : "Design-Build education : birth, development and perspectives. From its American origins to its French beginnings."
