Aims and expectations
L'atelier du Limousin is a master's level experiential teaching workshop at the École nationale supérieure d'architecture de Paris Val de Seine (ENSAPVS). It is a research-action-pedagogy aiming to teach but also to act for the "ecological mutation" of rural areas in the face of increasingly unsustainable social and territorial injustices, the collapse of biodiversity and climate runaway. By linking research, the dissemination of the knowledge produced through teaching, and practical application by students and professionals, we believe we can recreate a virtuous cycle where research, teaching and operational practice are refocused on a common goal. The Limousin workshop is currently in partnership with the "Grange aux Moines", a patrimonial site near the city of Ambazac. Its vocation for the years to come is to build a new and large local rural studio with a cultural and agro-ecologic approach.Short CV
