Short CV

Ute Christina Groba is an architect, researcher and university lecturer with a special interest in wooden building materials and in user-centred design approaches. She studied architecture at RWTH Aachen in Germany and at ETSAM in Spain. Groba holds an architectural degree (Dipl.-Ing.) from RWTH Aachen (2005) and a Ph.D. from The Oslo School of Architecture and Design (2021). Groba has worked as an architect in Germany and in Norway and has taught at universities in both countries. Since 2013, she has been affiliated with AHO’s Master of Architecture programme where she teaches studio courses with a focus on timber construction and housing.
