Prof. Dipl.-Ing. Jan Blieske

Short CV

Jan Blieske is an architect and lighting designer. He is tenured full time professor in the international Master’s programme »Architectural Lighting Design« at the Faculty of Design at Hochschule Wismar – University of Applied Sciences, Technology, Business and Design. His main research is focussed on the topic »Lighting in built heritage«. Together with Prof. Dr. Arnd Hennemeyer he initiated the first international »Light & Built Heritage« conference in November 2019 in Wismar, which was held in cooperation with the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile, among others. He is member at docomomo Germany and LiTG Lichttechnische Gesellschaft Deutschland.
