The Blueridge Chamber Music Festival, the partner organization for this project, has as its aim is to create opportunities to bring inspiring, innovative, and thought-provoking music to a wide range of  individuals, encouraging collaborations and mentorship to inspire the next generation of musicians. Having just passed their 10th anniversary, they are embarking on an exciting initiative to make music more accessible by taking it out of the concert hall into the community. The major component of this initiative is the construction of a "Chamber" – an ultra-portable concert structure designed to fit elegantly into a parkscape, and provide an acoustical environment appropriate for concert presentations.

The project involved the creation of a portable stage for the presentation of music, incorporating robotically-generated wood elements to provide an appropriate acoustic environment for chamber musicians.
